About the Founder
How it all started
Since 1995, at the early age of 9, I have been seeking out all that I can to better understand and master the craft of web design & development. By reading books, online tutorials, and even studying the source code of others I have learned through trial and error. For nearly 10 years I would grow to love working with the web, eventually starting a business that specializes in it.
Long ago, during my 7th grade science fair, while everyone else was choosing the cliché projects, I decided to present on "web design and development". At that time I only had a very limited knowledge of the field but this project furthered that knowledge and gave myself a chance to show others my abilities. As far as I remember, the project involved showing classmates and other viewers basic web design techniques, demo a sample website, and explain how the web has changed our way of life (things have certainly changed since then).
Once I reached high school I met a wonderful art teacher who would eventually become a mentor throughout my high school years. Introduced to this teacher in my 9th grade class titled 'Computer Based Advertising & Design', he taught me many new skills within the graphic design and art world and also supported my web design endeavors.
Due to my previous experience with the software used in class, specifically Photoshop, I was able to use my skill and talent to go beyond what was normally expected of students. Because of this, I was eventually given the opportunity to work with the Foxborough High School's website. I helped give it a refreshed look while providing constant maintenance. Not only did this opportunity mean real world experience working with a large website and leading a web team but it also provided me a chance to let myself be known. As the high school years counted down and my skills improved, it was nearly time to decide what my post-school plans would be. Not one to scurry off with the college crowd I decided to go out on my own and start a business.
After graduating Foxborough High School in June of 2004, I officially founded my business and secured my first major client, the Foxborough Public Schools, near the fall of that same year and have had continuous work from them ever since.
To this day I have continued to hone my skills, apply my talents, and improve my business by providing the best work I can to my clients.
Off the job
You'd probably expect me to have a laptop with me everywhere I go or maybe at the very least a smart phone, but truth be told, I'm a horrible nerd. I don't even pretend to be one. I find myself most comfortable when I'm deep in the beautiful world of nature. I'm an avid mountain biker, hiker/backpacker, "roughing-it" camper, and an Eagle Scout and it's this disconnect from the "connected" world that gives me a fresh look, from the outside, in.
